I miss my best friend, Rachael. She has been in Taiwan for about 7 months now…. teaching english. She is the only friend I have from high school and that means everything to me. Basically, she has been through thick and thin and I feel like I could never repay her for everything she has done for me. She won’t get back to the states until July and only for a short time because she has fallen in love with her children, the culture, and life. Sometimes I am jealous that she is so far away doing amazing things and I am here, hoping I can do the same someday. Even so, I feel lucky to have her in my life. I just wish she could come home now, hug me and tell me everything is going to be okay. She’s the most amazing best friend a girl could have.
